Two traffic policemen suspended

Two traffic police officials of Islamabad were on Sunday suspended on the charge of intercepting on a traffic violation an SP, who is at present deployed at Prime Minister’s House.
The superintendent of police had reportedly refused to pay the ticket and left while threatening the traffic police with dire consequences. He had even allegedly pressurized police high-ups to suspend the "accused policemen".
The SSP (traffic), Dr Moeen Masood, has directed for an investigation into the incident to ascertain what had happened, said sources in police.
According to Dr Masood, suspension of the traffic police officials had not been ordered for issuing a ticket to the police officer but due to their alleged misbehaviour with him.
