Five vehicles were lifted on Sunday from various areas of the Rawalpindi city, according to police.
Police said a woman, Riffat Abid, reported to the Saddar Barooni Police Station that some people took away her car last night from the porch of her house situated on Adiala Road.
The woman said that when she got up in the morning she found that her car was missing. Police have started investigation after registering a case against unidentified people.
Another person named Maqbool Ahmed lodged a report with the Banni Police Station that his pickup van was stolen by unidentified people from outside his house.
The car of one Nasir Mehmood was also taken away from outside his home. He lodged a report with the City Police Station.
Police quoted another person, Asad Abbas, that his motorcycle was taken away from the Westridge area. The motorcycle of Saeed Ahmed was stolen from Saddar, according to police.
